Shipping Info and Policy
  • Hair Stop and Shop will process and ship out an order within 1-3 business days given that payment has been received and there are no problems with the shipping address.

  • Delays in shipping may occur if there is a problem processing the payment, unconfirmed shipping address on PayPal, customer provided incorrect shipping address or first-time customer provided different billing and shipping address.

  • Although our main office is located in NJ, we have several warehouses located throughout the States. This means that your order may arrive in 1 or more shipments. To get accurate estimate of delivery time, please contact customer service by phone or e-mail.

  • Upon shipping your order, we automatically e-mail the tracking # to the customer. It is customer's responsibility to track their packages and check their e-mails about any notification regarding shipping status. Please provide correct e-mail address and contact telephone number when placing an order! 

  • If there is a problem shipping your oder, HSS will notify customer by e-mail or phone. It is customer's responsibility to regularly check their e-mail or voice mail to diminish any delays in shipping. Please provide correct phone # and e-mail address when placing order.Failure to do so will prevent customer service from getting in touch with the customer.
  • We offer FREE Ground Shipping on orders of $60 or more. Product total after discounts applied and before tax has to be min. $60. It is available to US address only, including PO boxes, and military bases (APO, FPO). Free ground shipping may take from 2-7 business days and does not have a guaranteed delivery date. We preserve the right to ship with the most economical option available from carriers UPS, FedEx and USPS. Although the customer will be charged $0.00 with this shipping option, if product is returned, the cost of the shipping HSS paid will be deducted from the refund amount!

  • Same day processing and shipping may be available for Express orders (FEDEX/UPS express saver, 2nd day or overnight) if order was received before 9:30 am EST on a business day. To ensure that you order can be shipped out the same day, please contact Customer Service at 1-877-586-2512 or by e-mail at order@hairstopandshop.com

  • Placing an order after business hours and selecting express shipping, most certainly means that your order will not start processing and will not ship until next business day. Do not assume that placing Overnight order on Monday after 6 pm, will get your delivery on Tuesday!
How much does shipping and handling cost?

Shipping cost is based on weight of package and speed of delivery. Our system will automatically calculate the cost for you, if you add products to shopping cart and then click on green button ESTIMATE SHIPPING. A pop-up window will appear and you will be prompted to enter your shipping address. After you enter your address, our system will offer different shipping methods for different costs and speed of delivery. 

  • Hair Stop and Shop ships to all US states and almost every country in the world via FedEx, UPS  and USPS shipping service. We also ship to military bases and PO boxes via USPS.

  • Shipments via FedEx are assigned a tracking number and can be easily tracked online at www.fedex.com
  • Shipments via UPS are assigned a tracking number and can be easily tracked online at www.ups.com

  • Shipments via USPS are only given a delivery confirmation number and cannot be tracked every step of the transit. You can check status on USPS packages at www.usps.com

  • Hair Stop and Shop is not responsible for any duties that are applied at any international customs.
  • For international customers we strongly recommend UPS and Fedex, instead of USPS, as these carriers provide faster and more reliable service.

  • If package is refused/unclaimed or undeliverable due to incorrect address customer provided, additional return shipping fees may be incurred (applicable to shipments with FedEx or UPS). This means that upon returning the refused goods, HSS will only refund product cost - incurred return shipping cost.

  • Shipping Options: 
USPS (United States Postal Service) requires signature confirmation, does not operate during national holidays. USPS does not provide tracking every step of the transit, only Delivery Confirmation. 
  • Flat Rate USPS ground shipping*- 2-8 business days (no guaranteed delivery date-provides only delivery confirmation without signature requirement)   *Only products weighing 13 oz or less qualify for this shipping method.
  • USPS Priority Mail- 2-3 business days (no guaranteed delivery date)
  • USPS Express Mail- Overnight to most US Continental
  • USPS Priority International- 6-10 business days or more (no guaranteed delivery date)
  • USPS Express International- 3-5 business days or more (no guaranteed delivery date)
FedEx requires signature confirmation, does not operate Saturdays, Sundays and during national holidays. FedEx provides excellent tracking system and is very reliable and speedy with International shipments.

  • FedEx Home Delivery- ground service 1-5 business days
  • FedEx Express Saver- Delivery in 3 business days by 4:30 p.m. to most areas (by 7 p.m. to residences)
  • FedEx 2nd Day- Delivery in 2 business days by 4:30 p.m. to most areas (by 7 p.m. to residences)
  • FedEx Standard Overnight- Delivery the next business day by 3 p.m. to most areas
  • FedEx Priority Overnight- Delivery the next business day by 10:30 a.m. or 12 noon to most areas
  • FedEx International Ground- Not available
  • FedEx International Priority- 1-3 business days based on distance to the destination.
  • FedEx International Economy- 2-5 business days based on distance to the destination.

  • Neither FedEx nor USPS guarantees delivery date, but will reimburse shipping cost if package is delivered late (exception are cases where failure to deliver on time was due to severe weather conditions). If your package has arrived late, please contact Customer Service via phone or e-mail to request reimbursement. Once Hair Stop and Shop has been granted the reimbursement from FedEx, we will issue customer's refund.
UPS requires signature confirmation, does not operate Saturdays, Sundays and during national holidays. UPS provides excellent tracking system and is very reliable and speedy with International shipments.

  • UPS 3 Day SelectDelivery by the end of the third business day (available to the 48 contiguous states )
  • UPS 2nd Day Air- Delivery by the end of the second business day (available to all 50 states and Puerto Rico, with some limitations in Alaska and Hawaii )
  • UPS Next Day Air SaverNext business day delivery by end of day (Available to the 48 contiguous states with some limitations)
  • UPS Next Day Air- Next business day delivery by 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, or end of day, depending on destination
  • UPS Worldwide Expedited
    • Delivery in two business days to Canada
    • Delivery in two or three business days to Mexico
    • Delivery in three or four days to Europe
    • Delivery in four or five days to Asia and Latin America
  • UPS Worldwide Saver
    • Delivery by end of day
    • Next business day delivery to Canada and for documents to Mexico 
    • Delivery in two business days to Europe and Latin America

  • First time customers paying with debit/credit card are required to ship to their billing address, unless they can provide address verification proof (copy of driver's license or copy of credit card/bank statement which verifies their billing address) or they change their payment method to PayPal.

  • Orders paid by PayPal will be shipped only to the confirmed PayPal shipping address which has to match the shipping address on our order form page.
Hair Stop and Shop takes great safety measures when shipping to a different than the billing address. Our top priority is to prevent fraud to our customers and our business. If a customer has paid through PayPal, merchandise will be shipped only to the PayPal confirmed shipping address.
