Payment Policy

• We accept Debit/Credit cards, Money orders and PayPal.
  Hair Stop and Shop accepts several different payment methods.
  US customers may pay using Debit/Credit card, Money order or PayPal.
  International customers may pay using PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account you can open one on www.paypal.com It’s FREE and safe to make payments all over the world. To submit payment via PayPal you can use credit/debit card or a bank account.
• Attention!  If placing an order while located outside of US, please select Checkout with PayPal.

• We do not accept prepaid debit cards, ATM cards or gift cards.
  Those cards do not support electronic address verification and our payment gateway will not process them. 

• When using a credit/debit card please ensure that the billing address you enter on our order form matches what your credit card company has on file for you. An address mismatch is the most common reason why a credit card transaction is declined. If your billing address is a PO box, try entering the number first and PO box second (example: 234 PO box instead of PO box 234). If your billing address contains dashes and symbols, try to skip them (example: 10012 Almond St. instead of 100-12 Almond St).
  Attention: If you get an error message that there is a mismatch on the billing address, do not attempt to process the order with that address several times, because your bank may put a hold on your credit card. The hold will show as pending transaction and will be released back into your account within several business days. 

• When paying via Money Order
  Order will not be shipped until full payment is received. Money orders can be mailed to:

  We recommend that customers purchase money orders from the Postal Office and keep their receipt in case the money order is lost in the mail. No international money orders are accepted and will be returned to the sender. 
  

• When paying via PayPal
  Ensure that the shipping address on your PayPal is confirmed and matches the shipping address on the order form. Unconfirmed address may result in delay and additional verification process. To confirm your shipping address on PayPal take these steps: visit www.paypal.com > Log in to your account > Click on Overview > Click on Profile > Click on Add or Edit Street Address
• Ways to confirm your shipping address with paypal are:
  1. Add a credit card to their PayPal account. PayPal will confirm the credit card billing address (the address where you receive your credit card statement).
  2. Apply for PayPal Buyer Credit. If they're approved, the address on your application will be a confirmed address.
  3. Alternate address confirmation. This process takes several days and is only available for U.S. accounts. To learn more, log in to your PayPal account and visit Alternate Address Confirmation.
     

• Shipping to a different address than the billing address on the credit card used.
  Hair Stop and Shop will only ship to the billing address that corresponds to the credit card used. If you desire to ship to a different address, additional verification process may delay the processing of your order. Please contact Customer Service at 1-877-586-2512 (M-F 9am-6pm EST) to inquire. The best recommendation would be to add your shipping address as a secondary billing address on file for your credit card account. To do that, please contact your credit card company/bank.
  
  
• Getting an error message when using debit/credit card
  One reason for the error message which means your transaction was declined by our payment gateway is that the debit card you are using does not support electronic address verification. In such cases we advise you to process the payment using PayPal.
  Another reason for the decline on your credit card may be mismatch on the billing address or incorrect CVV2 (the last three digits on the back of Visa, Discover and Mastercard and 4 digits on the front of Amex).
  In cases where the error message appears we advise customers not to repeat the attempts because their bank/credit card company may put temporary hold on the card used. Instead go to paypal.com and create an account if you do not have one yet. PayPal is the most preferred payment method as it offer fraud protection to both buyers and sellers.
